Fans Never Retire

About Me

To keep this simple, I am an avid sports fan who eats, sleeps, and breaths all sports. My passion for sports began when I was just a kid. My first word was ball and my love of sports only grew from there. I played competitive sports throughout my childhood and college career and although I no longer play competitive sports I will never retire from being a fan. I wanted to provide a platform of discussion for dedicated fans because I know that even when your team is a loosing franchise or your favorite player retires you remain a passionate fan for life.  

So why make another blog in the sea of sporting blogs? I found sites like ESPN, FOX Sports, and Bleacher Report did not always suffice. I wanted more. Rarely do sites like these broach controversial topics or give a straight-up and genuine opinion regarding tough subjects. Another issue I had surrounding media in general is that it is too negative; big time sporting networks harp on the negative too much in order to boost ratings. My goal is to create a fun, different, genuine, and unique blog that will stretch your perspective when it comes to sports. I want to simulate an honest conversation between two friends at a bar. Hopefully, after reading my point of view you will want to join in on the conversation, argument, debate, or discussion.
