2023 NFL MOCK DRAFT!
2022 NFL MOCK DRAFT!
2021 NFL MOCK DRAFT!
Order | Team | Pick | Explanation |
1 | Jacksonville | QB Trevor Lawrence Clemson | Urban Meyer joined the jags simply because they have the chance to draft Lawrence. |
2 | Ney York(J) | QB Zach Wilson BYU | Wilson is electric but with only one standout season is he worth #2 overall. The Jets will find out. |
3 | T- San Francisco | QB Mac Jones Bama | This seems so high for Mac Jones. The 49ers will be regretting this pick for years to come when both Lance and Fields outperform him. |
4 | Atlanta | TE Kyle Pitts Florida | Atlanta could get Matt Ryans heir at QB but opt to try to win now with the best weapon in the draft. |
5 | Cincinnati | OL Penei Sewell Oregon | Joe Burow wants Ja’Marr Chase but the Bengals are smart to protect him instead with a stud in Sewell. |
6 | T- Miami | WR Ja’Marr Chase LSU | Big need filled for Miami and will give Tua a chance to reach his potential. |
7 | Detroit | WR Jaylen Waddle Bama | Would be smart for the Lions to trade back. They also just need more overall talent and Waddle is a weapon and closest thing to Tyreke Hill there is. |
8 | T- New England | QB Justin Fields OSU | Hard to predict what Belichick will do but this may be his best bet to land a top QB. Fields can sit behind Cam for one year before taking over. |
9 | Denver | LB Micah Parsons Penn St. | Denver could go with a qb but instead take Parsons. He can learn from Von Miller and provide them with solid run/pass defense. |
10 | Dallas | CB Patrick Surtain II Bama | Dallas pairs Surtain with last years cb from Bama in Diggs. Anything to help what was an aweful defense. |
11 | T- Chicago | QB Trey Lance NDSU | Bears must make this move as there is no way they can go into season without a long term plan at QB. Lance may end up best QB from this draft. |
12 | Philadelphia | WR Devanta Smith Bama | Eagles choose WR over CB with both as glaring needs. Smith pairs back up with Jalen Hurts and gives him a #1 potential WR. |
13 | LAC | OT Rashawn Slater NW | Chargers know they found their QB last year and now need to protect him with a bookend OT. |
14 | Minnesota | OL Alijah Vera-Tucker USC | Minnesota takes Swiss Army Knife in AVT. He can play anywhere but will probably settle at G for the Vikings. |
15 | T- Carolina | CB Jaycee Horn SC | Carolina adds a 1st round pick in 2022 via trading back and also gets a top notch CB. Very solid draft. |
16 | Arizona | CB Greg Newsome II NW | Arizona would much prefer Horn but needs CB help badly to replace Patrick Peterson. |
17 | Las Vegas | OT Christian Darrisaw Va Tech | After Las Vegas moved on from about half of their starting OL they must replace them somehow. Darrisaw is a solid long term prospect. |
18 | Miami | DE Jaelan Phillips Miami | Phillips gets to stay in Miami and adds a pass rush to the dolpins defense. If health concerns don’t pop back up he will be a stud. |
19 | Washington | OT Teven Jenkins Ok State. | With no QB options left Washington adds to the OL as their defense is already in great shape. |
20 | T- New York(G) | DE Kwitty Paye Michigan | Giants like to draft linemen in the first round. Paye is a freak athlete and could be a steal when all said and done. |
21 | Indianapolis | CB Caleb Farley Va Tech | Farley is a wildcard with back issues. Hes is decent value though at this point and Indy needs help in the secondary. |
22 | Tennessee | WR Kadarius Toney Florida | Tennessee needs a speedy deep threat opposite of AJ Brown. This offense could open up even more with teams stacking the box agasint Derrick Henry. |
23 | T- New York(J) | RB Travis Etienne Clemson | The Jets need as many weapons as they can get. Etienne should help Zach Wilson and is a great threat in the passing game as well. |
24 | Pittsburgh | RB Najee Harris Bama | Harris seems destined to be a Steeler. His style of play and physicallity is a perfect match for this offense |
25 | T- Jacksonville | S Trevon Moerhig TCU | Jags just need talent on the roster and Moerhig is the highest rated safety in this draft. |
26 | Cleveland | DE Gregory Rousseau Miami | Browns just signed Clowney, but that is a 1 year deal and could still use more pass rush opposite Myles Garrett. |
27 | Baltimore | DE Jayson Oweh Penn St. | Baltimore now has two first round picks. They opt to address pass rush first with Oweh who somehow had 0 sacks this last season but led the ncaa in pressure. |
28 | Neew Orleans | WR Elijah Moore Ole Miss | Saints will need to put playmakers around their new QB. Moore fits nicely alongside Michael Thomas. |
29 | Green Bay | WR Rondale Moore Purdue | Packers finally give Aaron Rodgers a weapon. Rondale mood is small in stature but electic and a RAC machine. |
30 | Buffalo | DE Azees Ojulari Georgia | Buffalo has very few weaknesses. They go BPA and take Ojulari to bolster their pass rush. |
31 | T- Baltimore | WR Rashad Bateman Minn | Lamar Jackson gets a big bodied WR to pair with Hollywood Brown. Great value at end of Round 1. |
32 | Tampa Bay | DE Zaven Collins Tulsa | With Buccs offense pretty well set the add another big fast defender to the defense. Collins is low risk player who will have a long career. |
2020 NFL MOCK DRAFT!
Order | Team | Pick | Explanation |
1 | Cincinnati | QB Joe Burrow LSU | Burrow had the best statistical season maybe ever for a college QB. He should fit well into Zac Taylors offense. |
2 | Washington | EDGE Chase Young OSU | The Redskins should not over think this decision. Take the best edge rusher available to bolster their line. |
3 | (T) Miami via Lions | QB Justin Herbert OREGON | Miami’s tanking gives them ammo to move up to guarantee a QB. They won’t be competitive this season so they can bring Herbert along at his pace. |
4 | (T) Chargers via Giants | QB Tua Tagovailoa BAMA | Tua is a great fit in the chargers system. He will thrive in LA and will have weapons from day one. |
5 | (T) Detroit via Dolphins | CB Jeffrey Okudah OSU | Detroit trades back for a 2nd and 3rd round pick and still gets the player they love at a position they really need. Okudah is a true lockdown corner. |
6 | (T) NY Giants via Chargers | LB Isaiah Simmons CLEMSON | A source for the Giants thinks GM Gettleman is drafting for his job. He moves back for extra swings and still gets Simmons. |
7 | Carolina | OT Tristan Wirfs IOWA | Carolina needs to pick best player available and also protect Teddy B. Wirfs is the best athlete on the O-lIne available who can get out ahead and run with CM. |
8 | (T)Las Vegas via Cardinals | WR Jerry Jeudy BAMA | GM Mike Mayock admitted they need and want a wideout. Jeudy is the best all around wideout and his route running will translate right away. |
9 | Jacksonville | DL Derrick Brown AUBURN | Brown dominated most every game he played in 2019. The rebuilding jags just need to add talent. |
10 | Cleveland | OT Andrew Thomas GEORGIA | The Brows solved RT with Jack Conklin and now they get the best pass protecting LT in Thomas. |
11 | NY Jets | OT Mekhi Becton LOUISVILLE | The Jets take the LT over a wideout with the goal of keeping Sam Darnold healthy and upright. |
12 | (T)Arizona via Raiders | WR Ceedee Lamb OKLAHOMA | Cardinals trade back for a 2nd round pick and still get to pair Lamb with his former college QB Kyler Murry. |
13 | San Francisco | WR Henry Ruggs BAMA | Ruggs is a perfect replacement for the 49ers losing Emmanuel Sanders. He will be a fun new toy for Kyle Shannahan. |
14 | (T)Minnesota via Buccaneers | CB C.J. Henderson FLORIDA | Minnesota needs better corner play and Henderson is a lockdown corner. |
15 | Denver | DL Javon Kinlaw SOUTH CAROLINA | Kinlaw will be a steal at pick 15. He is a physical specimen and will be a day one starter. |
16 | Atlanta | EDGE K’Lavon Chaisson LSU | Atlanta needs pass rush help. Chaisson seems to be a reach this high. |
17 | Dallas | S Grant Delpit LSU | Jerry Jones enjoys taking a big name. Delpit came into the year as a top 5 prospect who under performed. |
18 | Miami | OT Austin Jackson USC | Jackson is still raw but possesses a great frame and supers traits to develop to an all pro LT. Miami can afford to bring him along slowly. |
19 | las Vegas | CB Kristian Fulton LSU | Fulton had a rough Championship game but is an all around solid CB. Raiders needs help in the secondary. |
20 | Jacksonville | S Xavier McKinney BAMA | Some have McKinney as the best S and some have him as a day 2 pick. Jags like his aggressive style of play. |
21 | Philadelphia | WR Justin Jefferson LSU | The eagles will take a WR in the first round. Jefferson ran a solid 40 time and backed up his ridiculous stats this season. |
22 | (T) Tampa Bay via Vikings | OT Jedrick Wills BAMA | Wills falls farther than expected and played RT at Bama. This is a value pick and helps add talent to the O-line. |
23 | New England | QB Jordan Love UTAH ST. | Many think the Pats may trade up for Love. In this case they don’t need to and may finally have their Tom Brady replacement. |
24 | New Orleans | LB Patrick Queen LSU | With no pressing need the Saints take best player available. |
25 | Minnesota | WR Brandon Aiyuk ASU | Vikings replace Stefon Diggs with Aiyuk. Very similar skillsets. |
26 | Miami | RB Jonathan Taylor WISCONSIN | Taylor should be RB1 after a tremendous combine and three incredible years at Wisconsin. |
27 | (T)Indianapolis via Seahawks | Yetur Gross-Matos PENN ST. | Matos is more projection that stats at this point but his frame size and speed could make him a star down the line. |
28 | Baltimore | Kenneth Murray OKLAHOMA | Murray has the size speed and body to be a day 1 starter. Ravens add a quality player to shore up the defense. |
29 | Tennessee | Trevon Diggs BAMA | Diggs has great size and ball skills. He can help replace the loss of Logan Ryan. |
30 | Green Bay | OT Ezra Cleveland BOISE ST. | What a perfect match for the Packers. They need WR help but can address that in round 2 in a deep class. |
31 | San Francisco | DT Ross Blacklock TCU | The 49ers were dominant because of their front 4. Blacklock can help replace the loss of Deforest Buckner up front. |
32 | Kansas City | RB J.K. Dobbins OSU | The chiefs don’t need anymore weapons but that’s just what they get. Dobbins excels both rushing and receiving. |
2019 NBA LOTTERY MOCK DRAFT!
Order | Team | Pick | Analysis |
1 | New Orleans | Zion Williamson(PF) | NO analysis necessary. |
2 | Memphis | Ja Morant(PG) | Morant is in the mold of Russell Westbrook. He is a better passer but not yet as strong. |
3 | New York(K) | R.J. Barrett(SF) | Barrett lands in the perfect situation for his type of skillset. He needs to be in a lead role and NY isn’t too bright for him. |
4 | New Orleans via LAL | Jarrett Culver(G) | Culver is a lock down defender. The Pelicans will stockpile talent that within a year or two will be a handful in the West. |
5 | Cleveland | Darius Garland(PG) | Can Garland and Sexton become with East’s version of Lillard and McCollum? That’s the Cavs hope. |
6 | Phoenix | De’Andre Hunter(PF) | People will hate this pick hoping the Suns take a point guard. Hunter is just a solid basketball player who will start right away. |
7 | Chicago | Cam Reddish(G) | Bulls take the high risk high reward Reddish. If he ever finds that aggressive mentality… watch out. |
8 | Atlanta | Rui Hachimura(F) | The hawks may want to trade up but if the can’t than Hachimura is a strong pick. |
9 | Washington | Sekou Doumbouya(F) | Wizards are a mess. They will not be good next year and just need talent. Should trade beal and tear it down and shoot for 2023. |
10 | Atlanta | Jaxson Hayes (C ) | Hayes is the best pick and roll/lob center in the draft. Trea young thrives in that role. Atlanta will be fun to watch. |
11 | Minnesota | Coby white(PG) | The wolves try again at the PG position. Coby white is the modern day NBA type scoring guard. |
12 | Charlotte | Brandon Clarke(PF) | Talant that can play right away should be the thought for the Hornets. Enter Brandon Clarke. |
13 | Miami | Nassir Little(SF) | Little dissapointed this year at UNC. He will perfom better in the more open NBA game. |
14 | Boston via Sac | P.J. Washignton(F) | Boston may lose Al Horford this offseason. Washigton is a decent fit to replace some of his production. |
2019 NFL MOCK DRAFT!
1 | Arizona | (QB) Kyler Murray | This boils down to pairing Kliff Kingsburry and “His” Quaterback. Arizona trades Rosen to New Enlgand for pick 32 and late round swaps. |
2 | San Fransisco | (DE) Nick Bosa | If healthy will be a menace in the backfield like his older brother. Him and Dee ford will be tough to stop. |
3 | (T) Denver via NYJ | (QB) Drew Lock | Denver seems to like Lock and moves up to get him. Seems like a stretch but to secure a QB usaully takes a bold move. |
4 | Oakland | (DT) Quinen Williams | Williams falls to Oakland who runs to the podium to secure the dominant DT. |
5 | Tampa Bay | (LB) Devin White | The word is Tampa is enamored with White. The other option would be to trade back and collect more overall talent. |
6 | NYG | (QB) Dwayne Haskins | The giants are very hard to read. They have to find Eli’s successor and Haskins is a very accurate thrower who can sit back and learn for a year. |
7 | Jacksonville | (TE) Noah Fant | Fant goes ahead of teammate Hockenson due to his verticle threat and fit with Nick Foles who loves to take chances deep. |
8 | (T) Carolina via Detroit | (TE) TJ Hockenson | Another target for Cam Newton and the best blockin TE in years. Greg Olsen wont last forever and Panthers offense suffers when he is out. |
9 | Buffalo | (DE) Josh Allen | Allen probably doesn’t last this long. I am not as high on him as others. He is only a 2 down player currenty who needs to get stronger against the run. |
10 | (T) NYJ via Denver | (OT) Jawaan Taylor | Jets GM really wants pass rush help but makes the smart decision to protect his young franchise QB. |
11 | (T) Tennessee via Cincinnati | (DT) Ed Oliver | Tennessee jumps up to select Oliver with the hope that he is the next Aaron Donald. If he even remotely close he will be a huge upgrade on their D-line. |
12 | Green Bay | (WR) D.K. Metcalf | Finaly Green Bay spends a high pick on WR for Aaron Rodgers. Is Metcalf worth it or is he just a workout warrior? Id go with the latter. |
13 | Miami | (DE) Rashan Gary | Miami elects to not draft a QB but take Gary instead. He underperformed at UM but has the physical skillset to truly dominate. |
14 | Atlanta | (DE) Montez Sweat | Adding to the pass rush should be a priority in the draft. Sweat is another physical wonder who could eventually be a star. |
15 | Washington | (OT) Andre Dillard | I predict Redskins trade their 2nd round pick and another late pick for Josh Rosen. They select Dillard to protect him. Well done. |
16 | (T) Detriot via Carolina | (DE) Clelin Ferrell | Ferrell is a high floor pick. Detriot needs to stock up on quality players no matter what positon. |
17 | (T) NYG via Cleveland | (OT) Jonah Williams | With his stock seemingly up and down for months Williams ends up right where he should have all long. Mid 1st talent who will have long solid career. |
18 | Minnesota | (WR) Marquise Brown | This is a reach from the Vikigns but they need to try to help out their QB and Brown is an explosive athlete and will be a perfect 3rd option WR. |
19 | (T) Cincinnati via Tennessee | (LB) Devin Bush | Bush is a bit undersized but extremely fast laterally. He will start from Day 1. |
20 | Pittsburgh | (WR) A.J. Brown | This pick feels like a desparate attempt to replace Antonia Brown. They should wait untill mid rounds to find some quality depth. |
21 | (T) LAC via Seattle | (DT) Christian Wilkins | LAC move up to take the dominant DT. Their D-line will be unblockable when all fully healthy. |
22 | Baltimore | (DE) Brian Burns | Pass rush is much needed in Baltimore. Burns has star potential if he can keep his weight up. |
23 | Houston | (CB) Greedy Williams | Williams will need to be taught some technique but his size and length are exactly when NFL GM’s are looking for. |
24 | (T) Oakland via Chicago | (RB) Josh Jacobs | Jacobs is a Mark Ingram type back. He wont wow you with pure speed but is tougher than nails and runs downhill. |
25 | Philadelphia | (CB) Byron Murphy | Eagles go with another DB from UW. He may not be their biggest need but he is Best player available. |
26 | Indianapolis | (WR) N’Keal Harry | Adding a weapon opposite T.Y. Hilton will open up this offense even further. Harry will also bail out Andrew Luck on some deep passes. |
27 | (T) Oakland via Dallas | (DE) Oshane Ximines | Wont replace Khalil Mack but they need to address the push rush. Ximines had great production in college. |
28 | (T) Seattle via LAC | (WR) Parris Campbell | Seahawks find a WR who can help fill in for Dug Baldwin. He is also Percy Harvin light. |
29 | (T) Arizona via Seattle via KC | (CB) Deandre Baker | Cardinals move up a few spots and grab much needed help at CB. Seattle slides back again and into the top of round 2 for an extra 4th round pick. |
30 | (T) Green Bay via New Orleans | (OG) Chris Lindstrom | After the splashy WR pick they take the safe choice in Lindstrom. Aaron Rodgers health still remains priority #1. |
31 | LAR | (DT) Dexter Lawrence | Suh out Lawrence in. He should thrive playing next to Donald. Then again who wouldn’t. |
32 | New England | (QB) Daniel Jones | Daniel Jones just seems like a NE QB. With a few years grooming behind Brady he will be set up for long term success. |
2018 NBA MOCK DRAFT LOTTERY PICKS
Team | Player | Position | ||
1 | Suns | DeAndre Ayton | C | The Suns have a big hole at the Center postion. Ayton is physicaly ready to dominate right away. He will need to learn how to become a rim protector but his overal skillset is too hard to pass up on. |
2 | Kings | Marvin Bagely | PF | Bagely has a really high floor because of his motor and leaping/rebounding ability. He will get you second chance oppertunites and put backs along with highlight reel alley oop dunks. He must work on moving his feet on defense. |
3 | Hawks | Mohamed Bamba | C | The hawks have along way to go but have the time to let Bamba develop his body and his offensive skillset. He will be a top 3 rim protector from day one. |
4 | Suns(T) | Luka Doncic | PG | The suns trade away mutilple picks, TJ Warren, and possibly more to move up for this second top 5 pick. Donic and new Suns coach Igor Kokoskov meshed well before and are a great match with the Suns. |
5 | Mavericks | Jaren Jackson Jr. | PF | The Mavs take JJJ for his rim protection and long term outlook. They wont win right way but he is another great building block to pair with Dennis Smith Jr. |
6 | Magic | Michael Porter Jr. | SF | Magic need a face of the franchise. Porter comes with huge risks following a back surgery in college. His reward though is All-star level. |
7 | Bulls | Wendell Carter | PF/C | The bulls seem to like Carter and believe he will thrive outside of Bagelys’ shadow. His game is a bit old school but his shooting stroke is really nice and shoud play in the modern NBA. |
8 | Cavaliers | Mikal Bridges | SF | It’s hard to know what the Cavs will do unitll Lebron decides. However, Bridges is a great 3 and D guy who should contribute right away. |
9 | Knicks | Trea Young | PG | The Knicks take Trea Young. He will be marketable, but this is definitely a high risk reward pick. His defense and size will always hold him back. |
10 | 76ers | Kevin Knox | SF | The Sixers need to keep adding shooters to spread the floor for Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid. They would love Mikal Bridges but Knox is a decent fit. |
11 | Hornets | Lonnie Walker | SG | Lonnie Walker will be a better pro than college player. He may bever be a star but at 11 overall this is great value. |
12 | Clippers | Miles Bridges | SF/PF | The clippers may lose Deandre Jorden. They just need to pick BPA. Miles Bridges is a very versatile athlete and can carve out a nice career. |
13 | Clippers | Collin Sexton | PG | Sexton is a hard player to project, but with a more developed outside shot he may turn into a steal. Doc Rivers will love his hard nosed mentality. |
14 | Nuggets | Robert Williams | PF/C | The nuggets take BPA with Robert Williams who wil be a decent two way players and a highlight reel in the Mile High City. |
Mock Draft 2018!
1 | Browns | (QB) Sam Darnold | USC | Cleveland cannot overthink this pick or get cute. Sam Darnold is the most well rounded qb and still has tons of upside. |
2 | Giants | (RB) Saquon Barkley | Penn St. | If the Giants think Eli still has a few years left then give him the best running back prospect since AP. And give him the ball often. |
3 | Jets | (QB) Josh Allen | Wyoming | Allen over Mayfield as the jets are still a few years away giving Allen and his ridiculous traits time to develop. |
4 | Browns | (DE) Bradley Chubb | NC Sate | Garrett on one side Chubb on the other. The Browns will not be fun to block. |
5 | Broncos | (QB) Josh Rosen | UCLA | A cocky Southern Cali kid with a smooth release. Sound Familiar. Elway wont be scared of Rosen and his cerebral approach. |
6 | (T) Bills | (QB) Baker Mayfield | Oklahoma | The Bills go up in the draft again and take last remaining top tier QB. He can sit a year or most likely push A.J. McCarron right away. |
7 | Buccaneers | (DB) Minkah Fitzpatrick | Alabama | The Buccs offense should be ok. A versitle DB gives them another piece to move around the defense which needs to improve to compete. |
8 | Bears | (OL) Quenton Nelson | Notre Dame | Match made in heaven. Nelson stays in the mid west and gives their young QB a nice gift. |
9 | 49ers | (DB) Derwin James | Florida St. | James replaved Eric Reid and though had a down year is worth the top selection with his overal physical game. |
10 | Raiders | (LB) Roquan Smith | Georgia | John Gruden will love the hard nosed Smith and plug him in day one to run his defense. |
11 | Dolphins | (LB) Tremaine Edmunds | Virginia Tech | I think Edmunds may end up the best player in this draft. His length and speed are special. Steal for the Dolphins. |
12 | (T) Colts | (DE) Marcus Davenport | UTSA | After trading down the colts select upside with Davenport. He could be a star or a bust. |
13 | Redskins | (DL) Vita Vea | Washington | Redskins pair Vea with last years Allen to form a wall along the D-line. They will be tough to run against. |
14 | Packers | (DB) Denzel Ward | Ohio St. | Green Bay may have to move up for Ward. Luckily he falls to them and improves their secondary right away. |
15 | (T) Patriots | (LB) Leighton Vander Esch | Boise St. | Patriots move up but not for a QB. Vander Esch reminds me of Jamie Collins, he did very well in this system. |
16 | Ravens | (WR) Calvin Ridley | Alabama | Need I say more. The Alabama to Baltimore connection lives on and in a postion of great need. |
17 | Chargers | (OL) Mike Mcglinchey | Notre Dame | Phillip Rivers may have 2 years left. Protecting him is their number one concern. |
18 | (T) Panthers | (OL) Connor Williams | Texas | Panthers trade up and take Williams to shore up the O-line. Cam gets hit way way to much. |
19 | Cowboys | (WR) Courtland Sutton | SMU | Home town team to the Cowboys and replaces Dez. This pick makes a splash, just like Jerry Jones plans. |
20 | Lions | (RB) Derrius Guice | LSU | Lions need some more power in their run game. Guice is just that. If he can stay clean off the field should be great value. |
21 | (T) Begnals | (OL) Will Hernandez | UTEP | Andy Dalton regressed without time to throw. Hernandez should help and provide holes for Joe Mixon. |
22 | (T) Colts | (OL) Kolton Miller | UCLA | Assuming Andrew Luck is healthy the Colts need to heep him upright. Miller has the skills to be a stud left tackle. |
23 | (T) Cardinals | (QB) Lamar Jackson | Louisville | Cardinals trade back and still land a QB. Fit seems odd but high celing makes it worth the risk. |
24 | (T) Browns | (DB) Jaire Alexander | Louisville | Jaire gives cleveland another solid piece in the secondary. Watch out the Browns are collecting some talent. |
25 | Titans | (DE) Harold Landry | Boston College | Pressure off the edge is a huge need for the Titans. Landry had a down year but his body of work is tremendous. |
26 | Falcons | (DL) Da’Ron Payne | Alabama | Atlanta is building a solid D-line. Payne may not be a star but will be solid contributor. |
27 | Saints | (WR) D.J. Moore | Maryland | Drew Brees gets a weapon and the saints make a push to win another Super Bowl with their aging star QB. |
28 | Steelers | (LB Rashaan Evans | Alabama | Replacing Ryan Shazier is important even as they root for him to come back. Evan seems to fit in Pitt. |
29 | Jaguars | (DB) Josh Jackson | Iowa | Steal of the draft as Jackson has crazy ball skills. How will teams throw on the Jaguars. |
30 | Vikings | (OL) Isaiah Wynn | Georgia | With the return of Dalvin cook, Wynn will be a strong addition. Take the pressure off of Kurt Cousins. |
31 | Patriots | (DB) Isaiah Oliver | Colorado | No more Malcom Butler. No big deal as Oliver has great length to start right away for the Pats. |
32 | Eagles | (TE) Dallas Goedert | South Dakota St. | They want to trade back but Goedert fills a need and has the chance to be special, especially if brought along slowly. |
Mock Draft 2017!
Order | Team | Player | Analysis |
1 |
Browns |
Myles Garrett (DE) |
In most Drafts Garrett would not be the #1 overall pick. If there was a QB worthy the Browns would go in that direction. |
2 |
49ers |
Leonard Fournette (RB) |
The 49ers really want to trade down and accumulate picks. After not getting a deal done they surprise by taking Leonard Fournette as they view him a once in a generational type player. |
3 |
Bears |
Jamal Adams (S) |
Its going to be a secondary player for the bears unless Garrett somehow falls to them. Adams narrowly beats out Malik Hooker. |
4 |
Jaguars |
Solomon Thomas (DE) |
With Fournette off the Board the Jags go best player available and take Thomas to add to what is becoming a stout D-line. |
5 |
Titans |
Marshon Lattimore (CB) |
Titans need help in the secondary. The ultra athletic Lattimore is a great piece to add. |
6 |
Jets |
Mitch Trubisky (QB) |
Trubisky figures to be the first QB off the board and the jets hope he is finally the answer their problems under center. |
7 |
Chargers |
Malik Hooker (S) |
Awesome scenario for the chargers as they get the ball hawk safety they are missing. |
8 |
Panthers |
Derek Barnett (DE) |
No OT’s are worth this pick so they take an Edge rusher who was extremely productive at Tennessee. |
9 |
Bengals |
Reuben Foster (ILB) |
Diluted sample or not Foster just scream Bengals. They are getting one heck of a player. |
10 |
Browns(T) |
Deshaun Watson (QB) |
The brown move up to take Watson and hope he is finally the solution. |
11 |
Cardinals (T) |
Mike Williams (WR) |
The Cards move up slightly to take the WR who will eventually replace Larry Fitz. |
12 |
Bills(T) |
Ryan Ramczyk (OT) |
The one year stud from Wisconsin seems like a Buffalo type player. He can slide into left or right tackle. |
13 |
Saints(T) |
Marlon Humphrey (CB) |
After failing to trade for Malcom Butler the Saints draft the physical corner from Bama. |
14 |
Eagles |
John Ross (WR) |
Ross and his home run threat nudge out Corey Davis and give Carson Wentz a fun new toy. |
15 |
Colts |
Jonathan Allen (DE) |
Some teams are concerned with health issues. I believe if he falls this far it will be the steal of the draft. |
16 |
Broncos (T) |
Christian McCaffrey (RB) |
He could go higher than this. However, this is a great situation for him and opens up the playbook for this offense. |
17 |
Redskins |
Takkarist McKinley (DE) |
With help needed on the rush, McKinley bring his explosive play to the capitol. |
18 |
Titans |
Corey Davis (WR) |
Tennessee gets the most athletic corner and WR without having to move up. What a draft! |
19 |
Buccaneers |
O.J. Howard (TE) |
Winston gets another weapon in what will be a high scoring offense. |
20 |
Ravens (T) |
Jabrill Peppers (S) |
Harbaugh to Harbaugh connection allows an easy transition and helps to overlook the diluted sample. |
21 |
Lions |
Haason Reddick (OLB) |
The Lions need help at the linebacker position. Reddick can play any of the three positions. |
22 |
Dolphins |
David Njoku (TE) |
Miami to Miami for Njoku who will give Tannehill his best chance of succeeding this season. |
23 |
Giants |
Garrett Bolles (OT) |
Best tackle in the draft goes a bit later due to his age(25). |
24 |
Raiders |
Dalvin Cook (RB) |
On and off field issues plus just average workout are concerning. However, he is a stud and will thrive next to Derek Carr. |
25 |
Texans |
Patrick Mahomes (QB) |
I believe this is way to high for Mahomes but Houston needs a QB and the ultra-athletic strong armed kid doesn’t need to do much with a great defense. |
26 |
Seahawks |
Obi Melifonwu (S) |
Its either trade back with a QB needy team or depth in the secondary. I think they will try him at corner. |
27 |
Packers (T) |
Quincy Wilson |
Its no secret Green Bay needs help at any spot in the secondary. Green Bay moves up a few to select their guy. |
28 |
Cowboys |
Taco Charlton (DE) |
More consistent pass rush will help the cowboys stay atop the NFC East. |
29 |
Chiefs (T) |
Gareon Conley (CB) |
Help a crossed from Marcus Peters. A very strong 1-2 tandem at corner for the chiefs who seem confortable picking players with red flags. |
30 |
Steelers |
Budda Baker (S) |
Plays with the same passion and hair on fire as a former all pro Steelers Safety. |
31 |
Falcons |
Charles Harris (DE) |
Imagine if Atlanta had more pass rush in the second half of the Super Bowl. |
32 |
Saints |
TJ Watt (DE) |
More help on the defensive side of the ball for the saints is never a bad thing. |
