2023 NFL MOCK DRAFT!

Order Team Pick Explanation
1 Carolina (QB) Bryce Young Bama Carolina traded up so they could have their top choice at QB. CJ Stroud was thought to be the pick but now it seems like they will go with the undersized Young.
2 Houston (EDGE) Will Anderson Jr. Bama Houston has Cleveland’s first round pick next year as well. So, it seems as though they may skip the QB position for now and build around their line.
3 Arizona (EDGE) Tyree Wilson Texas Tech Arizona really thought Will Anderson would fall to them. They take the next best pass rusher in the athletic Wilson. They may try hard to trade back with no avail.
4 Indianapolis (QB) Will Levis Kentucky Levis stock has moved all around. The colts seem to be set on his size and arm strength making him the most ready QB to start week 1. The colts have no other QB.
5 (T) Las Vegas (QB) CJ Stroud Ohio St. The raiders trade up to grab Stroud who surpisingly is available here. He can learn behind Jimmy G for a year before taking over in Vegas.
6 Detroit (CB) Christian Gonzalez Oregon Detroit may take Jalen Carter here but they need help at CB and Gonzalez has a chance to be special.
7 (T) Seattle (QB) Anthony Richardson Florida The hawks trade back and still get Richardson. He can sit behind Geno Smith while leaning the positon. His athelticism is second to none.
8 Atlanta (CB) Devon Witherspoon Illinois Atlanta needs help at QB but all 4 of the top options are gone so they go defense. Witherspoon had a tremendous season for the Illinois.
9 Chicago (DL) Jalen Carter Georgia Carter, who many feel is the best player in the draft drops to Chicago. His off the field issues combined with his conditioning are a worry. He is a beast when ready.
10 Philadelphia (RB) Bijan Robinson Texas Imagine Robinson behind that line and already top run game. The eagles can go RB this high as they have two first round picks.
11 (T) Green Bay (WR) Jaxon Smith-Njigba Ohio St. First WR taken and so Ironic that Green Bay trades Aaron Rodgres and then finally takes a WR in the frist round. Definelty a jilted Ex move.
12 Houston (OT) Brokerick Jones Georgia The texans continue building along the trenches and adding talent where they are lacking.
13 (T) Tennessee (OT Peter Skoronski Northwestern The titans fail to trade up for a QB. They need to reastablish their offensive line. Skoronski fits well in Tennessee.
14 New England (EDGE) Myles Murphy Clemson Murphy seems like the perfect patriots player. He can add talent, is coachable and the patriots need a pass rush in the QB heavy AFC East.
15 New York Jets (OT) Paris Johnson Jr. Ohio St. Jets love athletic tackles and need to give Aaron Rodgers as much protection as possible.
16 Washington (CB) Joey Porter Jr. Penn St. Comnmanders may trade up if a QB falls but getting Porter Jr. here is strong value. He is very long and sticky in coverage.
17 Pittsburgh (EDGE/LB) Nolan Smith Georgia Pittsburgh needs help at linebacker. Smith is a physical freak who can both rush the passer and drop into coverage.
18 Detroit (TE) Michael Mayer Notre Dame Detriot traded away TJ Hockenson last year and replace him with a more physical version. Mayer has great hands and body control and is a fine blocker.
19 Tampa Bay (CB) Deonte Banks Maryland Tampa is a sneaky trade up candidate for a QB. I have them settling for defense instead taking a solid CB option.
20 (T) Buffalo (WR) Jordan Addison USC Bills trade up to grab Josh Allen another weapon. Addison is a great route runner and sneaky quick after the catch.
Miami * Forfeited
21 LA Chargers (RB) Jahmyr Gibbs Bama Austin Ekler is most likely getting traded so the chargers replace him with Gibbs. He is underrated and carrired Bamas offense at times last season.
22 Baltimore (WR) Quentin Johnston TCU Ravens attempt to give Lamar Jackson a new toy to make up for the contract situation.
23 (T) Kansas City (WR) Zay Flowers Boston College The Cheifs trade up to get the ultra explozive flowers to take the burden off of Travis Kelce.
24 Jacksonville (OT) Darnell Wright Tennessee Jaguars go BPA and continue to add talent to a team on the rise in the AFC.
25 New York Giants (OG) O’Cyrus Torrence Florida Giants need help at guard. This isnt a sexy pick but a definete need along the line.
26 Dallas (DL) Calijah Kancey Pitt Kancey absolutley dominated at Pitt and is compared to Aaron Donald. He isn’t that but though undersized is a load up front.
27 (T) Seattle (DL) Bryan Bresee Clemson Pete Carrol loves traits and Bresee was the #1 overall recruit for a reason. He can be special when healhty and motivated.
28 Cincinnati (EDGE) Keion White Georgia Tech Bengals add more talent to their D Line. You can never have enough pass rush in the loaded AFC.
29 New Orleans (S) Brian Branch Bama First safety selected Branch is a smooth ball hawk who can also come up and tackle. The saints need help in their defensive backfield.
30 Philadelphia (DL) Mazi Smith Michigan Smith is a physical specimen and helps the eagles reload along the defensive front. He is a steal at this point.
31 (T) Minnesota (CB) Cam Smith South Carolina Cam smith has size and length the vikings will love. With better coaching he can be a solid player.
