First Ever Mock Draft 2014!

Houston Jadeveon Clowney DE Houston takes the best player on the board to pair him with JJ Watt. In a division with Andrew Luck they need to get after the QB.

Clevland/trade Johnny manziel QB First major trade only have to give up there early second round pick and next years second rounder. Get QB of future.

Jacksonville khalil Mack DE/OLB Got jumped by Cleveland but Mack is impressive athlete and fits well as hybrid in Gus Bradley’s system.

St. Louis/trade Sammy watkins WR Tough choice between him and a LT but need to give Sam Bradford one last chance with actual #1 caliber receiver to pair with Tavon Austin

Oakland Blake Bortles QB Wanted Sammy watkins but great choice to take QB that can sit behind matt Schaub and learn for a year.

Atlanta Greg Robinson OT Didn’t quite unfold the way falcons want but they get a much needed OT in an attempt to keep Matt Ryan upright

Tampa Bay Mike Evans WR May have taken Maziel but end up with his teammate who is a great fit opposite of Vincent Jackson

Minnesota Teddy Bridgewater QB Really like his leadership and game tape despite tough pro day. Can get some experience behind Matt Cassel as the Christian Ponder Experience should be over.

Buffalo Jake Matthews OT Tackle is spot Buffalo could use an upgrade and Matthews grades out slightly ahead of Lewan and can play right tackle as he did his junior season until he eventually slides to the left side.

Detroit Ryan Shazier OLB May be a bit of a reach but Lions defense needs some help and shazier is a very solid addition who can play either OLB position.

Tennessee Kyle Fuller CB Tennessee needs help at the cornerback position and Fuller has the size that seems to be the trend in the NFL now. Good combinations of size, speed, and hands.

New York G Eric Ebron TE Eli manning needs a go to weapon and playmaker on offense. Great fit with Ebron who is athletic and pays like a WR with a TE body.

St. Louis Taylor Lewan OT Rams score with this pick as Lewan could have gone easily in the top 7. Some off the field issues ,but a huge body and has a little mean streak im sure Sam Bradford will appreciate.

Chicago Aaron Donald DT Defense was atrocious last season and Aaron Donald is a high motor guy who can get some pass rush up the middle for Chicago.

Pittsburg Darqueze Dennard CB Pittsburg need some youth and depth at the corner position. Dennard is a physical corner in a division with AJ green and Josh Gordon.

Dallas  Dee Ford DE Some call this a reach, some thought ford could have gone top ten after the run Auburn went on last season. Dallas needs to replace Demarcus ware and add youth to the DE position.

Baltimore Ha ha Clinton-dix FS The Ravens can pair DIX with Matt Elam to for a dynamic safety tandem. Strong instincts and cover/ball skills.

New York J Marquise lee WR The Jets might be the one team that needs to draft a WR. Not impressed with the Eric Decker pick up this offseason. In order to truly judge Geno Smith he needs a reviver to throw to.

Miami Zack Martin OT Miami obviously needs help on the offensive line after the Bullygate that happened this last year. Martin is versatile and can play right away.

Arizona Anthony Barr DE/OLb Arizona decides against a QB of the future as they feel they are merely one player away from a championship team even with Carson Palmer. Barr could be difference maker on a already strong D.

Green Bay CJ Mosley ILB Green Bay still needs defensive help and an upgrade at the inside linebacker position. Mosley was one of the most consistant tacklers and leaders on a great Alabama defenses.

Philadelphia Brandin Cooks WR The eagles release Desean Jackson and replace him with another burner from the pac-12. Cooks will slide right into Chip Kelly’s offense and be a solid contributor right away.

Kansas City Odel Beckham Jr. WR I am just not a huge fan of Dwayne Bowe. The Chiefs need another weapon for Alex Smith and Beckham has big play ability and speed that will surely help.

San Francisco/trade Justin Gilbert CB San Francisco desperately needs youth at CB and Gilbert has the physical tools that are needed. Solid pick and good value as he once was projected a fringe top 10 so worth losing a pick trading up.

San Diego Rashede Hageman DT Can Play 3-4 nose tackle in this defense to help in run support. Corner is another need but Gilbert who they could have used went one pick before.

Cleveland Bradley Roby CB After trading up to land their franchise QB they add a CB to shore up the secondary opposite of Joe Haden. Roby is a great athlete who uses his length to his advantage well.

New Orleans Jason Verret CB Saints added Champ Bailey but he will probably play safely as he is losing a step. This pick isn’t sexy but adds youth and depth as Verret is a solid cover corner with great ball skills.

Carolina Cody Latimer WR Carolina can only go in two directions. WR or OT. With Steve smith leaving Latimer fills in a huge hole and gives Cam a weapon.

New England Jace Amaro TE New England is so successful with two athletic tight ends. This pic also adds depth with recent injuries to Gronk. Amaro has strong hands and uses his body well to shield off the defense.

Cincinnati/trade Morgan Moses OT Strong Trade for Cincinnati as they grab a monster tackle to bolster their offensive line and grab an extra pick in the meantime.

Denver Timmy Jernigan DT Broncos get a high motor DT who despite being undersized is very productive. Should help shore up defense that faltered as the year went on. Can be rotational player who doesn’t have to play NT.

Jacksonville/trade with Seattle Derek Carr QB Missed out on Manziel but take Derek Carr to sit behind Chad Henne most likely only for a few games. This gets them in front of Houston who probably would have drafted Carr.
